Dubai Diaries

Hello Dubai!

My journey in Dubai has been a rollercoaster ride. Moving to a new country has been exciting and challenging. I love the country, culture and food. I am grateful for all the beautiful people, places, food and experiences so far!

Over the last two months, I focused on self-care and self-development. Exercising two-three times a week with a positive community has been a good place for social support, cooking healthy meals, reading books, journaling and keeping a good routine has helped improve my mental well-being and mood. Now I am looking forward to the next chapter, ready to work hard and put my heart into the next opportunity I land.

Here are a few of my favourite memories so far and many more to come.

Beach by FIVE, FIVE Palm Jumeirah

Beach by Five situated at Five Palm Jumeirah is the perfect weekend spot to gather your friends, sip away on cocktails and enjoy a magnificent French Riviera-inspired menu by Chef Florian Barbarot. Expect an exciting beach party, private beaches, a grand pool and a Mediterranean-sharing style menu influenced by traditional flavours of Spain, Greece, Turkey and the Levant.

Folia, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach

Folia nestled at the stunning Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is a must-visit. I was awestruck by the Arabesque palace-like entrance, lavish interiors, and charming private beach off the coast of the Arabian Gulf, featuring gorgeous ocean and sunset views. The best part of it all was the exquisite plant-based cuisine by Chef Matthew Kenney who is shaping the future of food with sustainable and vibrant dishes exploding with flavours.

The award-winning Bubbalicious Brunch unveiled The Roast by Bubbalicious, featuring a heartwarming Sunday roast and other British classics, free-flowing beverages, over ten live cooking counters and a magnificent spread of decadent desserts, alongside live music and entertainment. It’s a beautiful spot to spend your Sunday afternoon with loved ones and indulge in a feast.

A gem tucked away at Jumeirah Al Naseem with shimmering blue water views of the Arabian Gulf, this restaurant oozes sophistication and a neighbourhood sanctuary feel. The Arabian elements, vibrant yet warm interiors with peach pink tones, dim-lit ambience and alluring decor, make it a cosy spot to dine with loved ones.
